Come down our driveway and forget that you are in a busy city on a fast-paced road just off the Interstate system. Take time to look at Bob's park filled with wonderful signs, plants, flowers, antiques, and probably our dog, Baxter, sitting under the huge Pin Oak tree. Get a cold drink from the refrigerator and enjoy the 20' x 25' classroom with magnifier lights and large tables while you learn needlepoint in a wide assortment of classes at every stitching level. Our friendly family of employees is always ready to help you with any questions that you might have, in person, over the phone or via email.
Meet other stitchers who share your same passions of needlepoint. You will be stitching all three days of the class with your custom stitch guide. Amy goes around the classroom answering questions while you stitch and relax. It has been called a "Needlepoint Spa" by those who are repeat customers.

"Cook Up a Canvas" Class Details
Class Fee includes: group instruction, the use of our needlepoint library during class time, special surprises, and catered lunch. Class will be held in our large, bright classroom, equipped with a limited number of magnifier lights and assorted frame holders for those who may wish to borrow them (first come/first served).
Class maximum is 10 students (class maximum is raised for certain classes).
$100.00 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your place in class.
The "Cook Up a Canvas with Amy" classes have a comfortable format. By popular request, each student will receive a written stitch guide by Amy to keep and take home for completion of the project, and threads for their "previously" sent canvas (one per student and must be received no later that 2 months prior to class date).
You will be stitching all three days of the class with your custom stitch guide. There is a charge of $35.00 per hour for the written stitch guides. The threads chosen for your canvas will be billed to you, after your approval, in class. Lunch will be provided. Please inform us in writing of any allergies or food dislikes when you send your canvas. Enrollment is limited. Groups are welcome. All of our classes fill up so quickly, but we would like to strongly encourage you to put your name on a waiting list (or several lists). Our experience shows that many changes take place in a year's time, and the class lists have a way of re-sorting and leaving many openings. Also, please consider a RENT AMY DAY as an alternative.
