Needlepoint Therapy by the day!
Have you ever wanted to schedule your own class? The day isn't right, the subject matter doesn't quite cover what you really want to learn, or your best friend can't be there. Maybe you are going to visit the area and want to add one more Memphis experience to your trip . Did you know that you can schedule your own class with Amy? We call it "Rent Amy" Day and you can tailor the class to suit your needs.
The date and subject of the class must be agreed upon and scheduled ahead of time with Amy. Available dates are limited. These are non-project days, which means, they are technique or trouble shooting classes. An example might be that you and 5 of your friends come to "Rent Amy" Day, and Amy will help you with stitch and thread suggestions on canvases that you bring from home, unsnarl some stitching problems that you have, or just teach you stitches and techniques on practice canvases and leftover threads that you bring with you. Sorry, no custom-written stitch guides can be offered for these classes.
The fee is $350.00 per 6-hour teaching day (9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with an hour break for lunch) or $200.00 for a 3-hour half day (9 a.m. to noon or 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.). This fee includes six hours of instruction from Amy and rent of the classroom for the duration of the class.
There is no class minimum and our classroom can hold 12 or more comfortably. We can make arrangements for lunch to be catered (with prior notice) at an additional price, or you are welcome to pick up lunch and bring it back to the classroom to enjoy together in a quiet setting.
