Jesus & Manger / Nativity Set Home Study / Kit #1

This is the first canvas in Group #1 of the Kelly Clark Nativity Set Home Study.

The base of the manger will set the stage for the bottom borders of each piece, bringing continuity to the series. A sprinkling of beads and metallic add sparkle to the rich silk stitching. Ovedyed thread combined with a "bricked" stitch build the wood of the manger, and a unique ribbon-like thread gives a 3-D effect for the straw.
