Mary / Nativity Set Home Study / Kit #2

This is the second canvas in Group #1 of the Kelly Clark Nativity Set Home Study.

Mary stands presenting her new born babe to kings and shepherds alike. Her soft, simple, worn gown is stitched using Heathway 100% Merino Wool. The long flowing blue mantle is stitched with the same thread used for Jesus' swaddling clothes. Her head is covered with a softly ruffled linen cloth that you stitch. The brocade-like background is an adaptation of a stitch found in Backgrounds & Such by Julia Snyder.
