These are projects that are divided into monthly segments of instruction and thread kits.  The number of months into which a project is separated depends on the complexity of the stitch guide and/or canvas.

Why would I want to participate?

These are great projects with fun stitch guides and loads of different threads to try. You won't have to search the world over for all of the threads, charms, beads, and buttons needed to complete the design.  The cost has been divided into the cost of the monthly kit so that you don't have to pay for all of your threads at once with the first kit being the most expensive because it includes the canvas/canvases involved in the project.
