Tony makes history with his world travels ... on canvas, that is. He has designed and taught his textile teasers; Patterns of the Orient, Journey to Satchadananda, and In the Footsteps of the Pharaohs, but now he is swinging a little further south to pick up the fascinating designs of Out of Africa. Like the other designs, there will be 14 different areas to stitch including Batik fabric patterns, along with botanical and animal elements, and possibly a Masai necklace piece.
Out of Africa is the fourth episode in the "Minieri Cultural Collage Series."

The original design was worked on Congress Cloth. If #18 mesh canvas is desired, we can provide that for you; BUT, additional threads may be needed and you MUST request the canvas change NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 15TH. Homework will be mailed to class participants no later than October 1st.
As always, you will be provided with refreshment during the days of class and lunch each day. We appreciate a list of classroom needs and food allergies well in advance of class so that we can accommodate you.
